Apple held its “Apple Event” on September 15, 2021 at 2:00 am Japan time to announce its new products.
This event attracts a lot of attention because new iPhones, iPads, and other products are announced every year, and a number of Apple products were announced this year as well.

About the new iPad

As you can see from this table, it has been given a complete and excellent update. The selectable capacities have been radically improved, and the CPU performance has been improved.
On top of that, the price difference is super-cosmetic, starting from 1,520 yen, which makes it difficult for those who have an iPad (8th generation) to sell it on Mercari.
If I had to make a request, I would have liked to see the terminal changed to Type-C like the other iPads. This is because the iPhone still uses a lightning cable, so the target audience is probably iPhone owners.
About the new iPad mini
The much-anticipated iPad mini has finally been announced.
It’s been a while since the iPad mini 5 was announced in March 2019, but the device has been very popular due to its portability and ease of use.
To be honest, the iPad mini is the device that Apple is pushing the most at this event, and it’s so close to the needs of users.

Again, I think the new iPad mini is the most user-friendly product of the event.
First of all, the home button is gone, but it still has a power button with Touch ID, it supports the latest A15 chip, and it now has a USB-C port, and the cellular model supports 5G communication.
On the other hand, the lowest price has increased, but it is really nice to be able to buy a tablet with these specs for less than 60,000 yen.
About the new iPhone

Summary of the comparison between the new iPhone and the old iPhone
First of all, the capacity of all the models has been increased, and the 64GB model has been discontinued, which may have resulted in a slight increase in price.
As for the camera performance, I’ve mentioned the difference in cinematic mode, but there are some other updates, but you won’t notice them as long as you’re using the device in general.
And there are two disappointing points: the continuation of the Lightning port and the absence of fingerprint recognition. For some reason, users’ opinions about the iPhone don’t seem to be listened to very often, and Apple seems to be stubborn in not changing this.
Considering the current situation, the new iPhone is the one that you would want to be able to unlock easily while wearing a mask. On top of that, many users were expecting the iPhone 13 to have a power button with Touch ID just like the iPad. Too bad.
